Afternoon [FIRST TOPIC] [EVERYONE IS FREE TO JOIN]

The sun shown through the hole in the large building's roof, shining down on the groups and shedding light on it. On a bench nearby, a girl sat, humming a tune. She stretched her legs, examining a potted plant with interest. On the plant was the smallest indication of fruit, a green and yellow swelling that seemed to be forming a ball of the plant. She smiled. This was food, a tomato forming on the plant. She had tried to grow one of these for the last week.
Standing up from the bench, she walked over to place the flower back in it's spot. It was around two in the afternoon, with the sun in it's brightest. Her dress fell past her legs, untidy looking from a day's work with the food supply. She'd have to wash her clothing soon: A few articles of clothing that she had brought when she left her home, and was allowed to keep for The Acropolis. Some people were unlucky, wearing the same clothes every day and being forced to wash these clothes in the nude, ducked under the water at the southern end of town.
The Forum was bustling, with musicians singing from the far end and merchants selling their goods. At this time, the morning hunters had returned with a dozen birds and/or squirrels, and the guards would be switching posts and having their breaks. The girl, named Alena, walked up the path, hands folded behind her back and humming the same tune. Her dress fluttered behind her as she walked, as a cool breeze swept through one of the Forum's windows.

Mia stood in her small section of the forum, it was placed just outside the grasp of the sun, but close enough to keep her warm. She had found this the best spot to be for business, customers liked to be comfortable and this spot was the perfect replica of comfortable. Even if that didn't bring in customers she knew they would come, they always did, because Mia had gotten lucky. She had a knack for finding small items and turning them into something useful. The small girl ran her hand across a patchwork shaw, each a little scrap she had found laying around. It had taken weeks to finish, but now that it was done Mia couldn't help but marvel in her work.

Looking around at the wondering townspeople she contemplated the effectivity of calling out what goods she had to offer. It wasn't that she was desperate, but on a day as slow as this one sometimes it was hard to get their attention. Besides, being a Merchant could be a lonely job and right now she was feeling especially lonesome. It had been nearly a day since she had spoken to anyone, sometimes she needed the company.

Finally she decided on remaining silent, it was for the best anyway, being obnoxious almost always scared off the customer. Adjusting her long, red hair into a manageable position, she folded her hand in her lap and waited. Listening to the soft hum of the musician to her left, the small girl lifted her head up to the sky; embracing the gift of another day alive.

To add another passive, introduction post; the young woman sat on one of the stone ledges of the forum building, her legs hanging over and her body slumped against the wall as she idly swung the stick of death in her hands. To be perfectly honest, she didn't seem all to excited for the nice day. In fact, one could easily tell as she flickered her red gaze across the square, not even bothering to push the black strands of hair out of her face, she seemed rather bored.

Aye, she should be rather thankful she had clothing. Like the small, white dress he had worn when she was dumped here - tattered and stained, and fitting much more like a shirt now. She also had pants and shoes and spare clothes to suit her, a good amount built up after a while. After all, the dead and the slaves wouldn't be needing them, right? Whatever extra she had, though, she often gave away to those who needed them more... And hope she wouldn't be getting them back anytime soon.

Jennifer frowned. She wasn't on duty at the moment, but she still felt like she had a post to keep. There was nothing to do here, though. With a quck decision, she leaped down, landing on her knees &- but that was alright. She quickly picked herself back up and began to walk the streets.

The humming girl walked by the merchant's shop, in her hair a vibrant blue flower. When she turned her head for a second towards the girl, she stopped. The merchant looked starved of customers, as if she hadn't traded something all day. In a breast pocket of her dress, Alena felt two candies. They were rare, valuable candies, in which a baker gave her shortly before Slyvia was conquered. She had half a dozen in all, and had not gotten around to eating any. She decided early on that they could be a nice thing to trade. She took one from the pocket, which was wrapped in a golden paper, with two twists at either end that were meticulously hand-done, and walked up to Mia.
"Hello!" she said sweetly, folding her hands in back of her. "What are you selling?"

Tyler sat silently on a bench nearby the other roaming residents, his stone sword tucked safely and conveniently in its sleeve over his back. He wasn't on duty either, so instead he was simply taking a break, looking around every now and then as if to make sure everything was safe still.

As for Tyler, he had only two pairs of clothing; one in which he was wearing now. What he currently wore were a pair of tattered grey jeans and a torn, dirtied grey shirt along with a pair of worn-out regular shoes. He also had a ripped, leathery jacket that was slightly thick and had a few blood-stains here and there. Considering he seemed to guard the jacket with his life, the people who had brought him to the Acropolis had allowed him to keep it, since it wasn't worth taking, really. It had been a present from his father a long time ago, yet it still fit him, as if it grew as he did.

Speaking of which, the boy happened to be wearing it right now, making him look slightly sinister and/or threatening.
